What We Can All Learn From The Apostle Peter

We've all heard the story of Christ and Peter walking on water. But if you haven't you can read Matthew 14:24-33.

As a teenager I would judge Peter for when he noticed the boisterous wind he began to sink when less then two seconds ago he had enough faith to walk on water. But the older I get the more I realize how much myself and all of us are like Peter.

I had a sister in my mission who would always tell me that I had faith like Peter. When the Lord called me to get something I would leap out of the boat.

But something else I'm learning about myself is that when those boisterous winds that we all experience in life start blow it's easy for me to start sinking.

I'm learning that when this happens we need to follow peter's example and cry out "Lord, save me." We cry this out as we repent, realign our will with Gods. Just Christ did not fail Peter, Christ will not fail us. He will stretch out His hand when we are drowning because His hands are forever outstretched. All we have to do is call out. He will always hear our prayers.

Lilly Pulizter Monogrammed Debit Card

I am so excited for my latest project I've been working on. I monogrammed my debit card. I did it in the Wells Fargo Card Design Studio. It was super easy. I made the monogram in Photoshop then uploaded the image. I'm in love with the way it came out.
Can we just take a minute and appreciate how perfect this is?

Repeat all around your head.

When all the hair is pinned into place adjust the hair as needed.

then your bun is done. I like to add a headband to keep the little fly aways out of my face.

Tips for Surviving Snow College

I learned a lot as a freshman at Snow College. Here are some of the lessons.

#1) you don't need a lot of stuff. My dorm was packed full of stuff and I mean packed full. No one needs to ever own that much stuff. College is the perfect time to narrow down your stuff. Its better to not bring enough and when you drive back home every other weekend get more.

#2) Your life will never be like this again. College is a pretty special time of your life. You will never have a time like this again, so make the most out of it. Audition for everything, make a lot of friends, and know you don't need anybody in your life to have a good experience. I wasted a lot of time wishing I had a boyfriend when I could've been doing more productive things and spending time with my friends.

#3) Make Best Friends for life! Don't just make friends so you have friends. Have the intention of being their friends forever.

#4)DO ALL YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE THE WEEKEND. Trust me. You'll be a lot happier in life if your homework is done Friday at 6pm. I promise.

#5) All nighters. Do them.

#6) don't be "that girl" that sits in her room on netflix doing nothing

#7) Go to Institute, even if you're not Mormon the Institute is a really good study place and there's always someone there playing games and eating food. So go.

#8) Go to Western Swing, Its a blast!

#9) School events are as good as the friends you bring with you. Always remember that.

Well that's all the tips I have for today.
